Race Furniture, a highly regarded British manufacturer renowned for its innovative and quality seating solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Schofield, as its new Managing Director. With a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years in the manufacturing sector, John brings a robust background and a fresh vision to the company.

John joins Race Furniture after an impressive 15-year tenure at Just Trays, a leading company in the bathroom industry, where he played a pivotal role in driving growth and building the JT brand. His extensive experience in manufacturing businesses within the bathroom sector has equipped him with invaluable insights and expertise that will be instrumental in steering Race Furniture towards new heights.

Before transitioning to the bathroom industry, John built a robust career surveying, working on projects ranging from motorways to large-scale civil engineering projects, including the construction of Chep Lap Kok, the new airport in Hong Kong.

Expressing his enthusiasm about joining Race Furniture, John stated, “I am delighted and excited to be joining a highly regarded British-based manufacturer and part of a multinational group.
