Production Worker/Installer
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
As Production Worker & Installer you are responsible for assembling, finishing, and installing seating as per company and client specifications. This role involves working with various materials, tools, and machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and at client locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in production and installation, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Production Duties
- Seating Assembly: Assemble seating in line with design drawings and/or written instructions.
- Finishing Work: Sand, stain, polish, and finish furniture surfaces to meet quality standards.
- Machine Operation: Operate manufacturing equipment such as saws, drills, and sanding machines, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts and final products for defects, ensuring all items meet company standards and client expectations.
- Material Handling: Measure, cut, and prepare raw materials for production; maintain accurate inventory and storage of materials and tools.
- Assembly Line Support: Aid in production line processes and maintain efficiency by troubleshooting basic mechanical issues, assisting colleagues, and identifying areas for improvement.
- On-Site Assembly: Travel to client sites to assemble and install seating according to layout plans and customer requirements.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients, address any on-site issues, and communicate progress or concerns with the installation manager.
- Layout and Measurements: Accurately measure spaces to ensure proper placement and alignment of furniture during installation.
- Troubleshooting: Adjust or modify furniture on-site as needed to accommodate irregular spaces or specific client requests.
- Site Clean-Up: Ensure all installation areas are left clean and organized, disposing of materials properly and keeping tools secure.
- Due to the nature of installation sites you will be required to stay away overnight.
- Semi Skilled in practical engineering, installation work, furniture manufacturing, carpentry, or a related field would be advantageous
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and production machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and PPE use.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
This position requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. You play a key role in delivering high-quality furniture and installation services that meet client expectations and uphold the company’s reputation.

Purchasing Administrator
Reporting to: Purchasing Manager
The purpose of this role is to support the procurement process by ensuring the timely and cost-effective purchase of the required materials, goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Order placement – process purchase orders, goods receipting and chase any required orders for delivery. Liaising with suppliers to ensure deliveries will be received in full and on time.
- Stock Management – monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess.
- Arranging and organising the transport of products to site ready for installation.
- Supplying costs to sales for transport to enable accurate costings.
- Handle commercial invoice processing and resolve any queries.
- Issue delivery notes.
- Product Location – knowing where raw materials, components or finished goods are stored.
- Support external sales team with administration of orders for Heritage/Ocee/Retail.
- Production handover – support production to align all activity to production plan.
- Problem resolution – respond to enquiries relating to inventory control from Sales or Production and resolve any order discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Supplier coordination- communicate regarding lead times and delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records, updating spreadsheets/database.
- Effective internal and external communication.
- Answering the phone and directing calls as necessary.
- General administration duties across the site to support other departments as required.
- Cost Efficiency: Ability to procure materials at competitive process without compromising quality.
- Supplier Performance: Maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Accuracy: Minimal errors in purchase orders, inventory records and documentation.
- Inventory Optimisation: Maintaining stock levels to avoid shortages or excess.
- Problem Resolution: Quickly resolving issues.
- Process Improvements: Streamlining purchasing workflows to increase efficiency.
- Budget Adherence: Staying within allocated spending limits while meeting production needs.
This position requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. You play a key role in helping to align purchases with the company’s operational and financial goals.
