History reimagined
Located within the heart of the Bletchley Park Heritage Site, this extensive and prestigious project involved the careful refurbishment, repurposing and restoration of a WWII building, to create a modern learning centre.
The transformation of Block E, once the communications hub of wartime Bletchley Park, has created a state-of-the-art presentation and event space alongside eight learning centres. This new space will increase capacity and grow the programme, inspiring even more learners. Such a beautiful space that is steeped in history deserves a seat that matches that prestige, for their audiences to learn from and enjoy.
A beautiful seat for a stunning space
The Race Furniture Tempest seat is one of our most famed seats and has been installed in prestigious venues around the globe, so really there was only ever one choice for this esteemed space. Finished in a rich blue velvet adds to the elegance of the Fellowship Auditorium and allows the user to sit in luxurious comfort. We also supplied several Stanway Max chairs finished to the same standard that could be easily removed from the front rows to allow for wheelchair users to occupy that space.
It was a very challenging project with a massive amount of design development at the 11th hour, but the Race Furniture team was very proactive and got the job done on time and we have a very happy client.
