Timber Bleacher
The term Timber Bleacher seating was defined way back in the late 1800’s. Wooden outdoor viewing benches were generally left uncovered and as a result became “bleached” by the sun, thus the term “bleachers”. Used today as a common term for telescopic platforms or tribunes that would generally house timber bench seating.
Far from the days when only southern pine benches were an option we now provide a wonderful array of choices to suit. Today’s modern materials, which include high-pressure laminate for the benches, give a robust and visually appealing finish.
When not used as a seating unit, a Timber Bleacher is folded away and used as a rebound surface. In this case the fascia panels on the bench seat are then transformed in use to repel balls from any errant shots.
