We will take your project specification and from it create a seating solution that is completely unique to you. Our imaginations have no boundaries, if you can dream it, we can build it. The seats in our product range are an example of what we can do, but by no means a limitation… every seat is fully customisable OR we can create something totally new and awe-inspiring, just for you!
It takes time and great skill to turn good environments into great experiences. Luckily, we’ve got a proven process to satisfy our curiosity…

First off, let’s introduce you to your dedicated project team
When you choose to work with Race Furniture you’ll be working directly with a dedicated team who will get to know everything about you and your project. They will collaborate with you, and each other, to create the seat of your dreams, on time and to budget.
You can expect to have contact with at least:
- A dedicated project manager
- One or more of our in-house designers
- Our Installation Manager
- Our Production Manager
Phase 1: Idea and Enquiry
So you’ve got your idea or client brief…
You know Race will be able to create exactly what you want, so drop us an enquiry. A Project Manager will be assigned and will begin working with you to get the full specification for your project and the desires you have for your seat.
Phase 2: Quote Estimate
With your budget and requirements in mind, our in-house design cost estimator will create your initial bespoke quote estimate.
Your project manager will then share this with you. This quote is of course subject to change as we move through the process, but we will communicate any additional costs or savings throughout.
Phase 3: Design Consultation
Your dedicated designer will begin turning your ideas into a reality.
Using your specification they will start creating ideas, drawings, and solutions for your seat. Everything is done in-house by our team and your designer will be with you from the beginning, right through to the end of your project, working with you to create your bespoke seat.
Phase 4: Design Development
Here your designer will get really into the details of your project.
They will begin developing any initial ideas in the context of your space. Here layout, safety requirements, sustainability efforts, ergonomic reviewing and much more will be taken into consideration. As we move through this phase and discover certain challenges, we may need to move back into phase 3 to consult with you any amends or issues we foresee. This may go back and forth a few times before we can settle on your final design and move on to the next phase.
Phase 5: Design for Manufacture
So all the design work has been signed off and your final quote sent.
Your designer will now create versions of the final design to be used by our manufacturing team in order to create your finished product. We do this all in-house which allows our design and manufacturing teams to work closely together during these stages to avoid any delays or error.
Phase 6: Production
Now it’s time to start building.
Our in-house production & manufacturing teams will then begin working on building your seats. Everything is done from our onsite factory by our small but mighty team of upholsterers, seamstresses, assemblers, woodmill operators, and welders. By operating from under one roof it allows us to be in constant communication with each other, meaning production times are a lot faster and any issues can be resolved quickly and effectively.
Phase 7: Installation
The final stage in the process.
Once your seats are ready to go, our team will ship them out to your venue, ready for install.
And like everything else we do, our installation team are all in-house! That’s right, the same people that make your seats will come and install them too. The benefit of this is that we have 100% ownership of every stage of the project, and if anything were to go wrong with the seating during install, our team will know exactly how to fix it.
Every project we have worked on, we have installed our seats and handed over the venue, on time! At the beginning of the process your project team will put together a thorough and realistic time plan. We will then work with you to make sure the plan is run to schedule and alongside your requirements.
