The Ernest Race Heritage Collection: Made for then, Perfect for now!

This collection is made up of the iconic mid- twentieth century designs of our founder, Ernest Race. Inclusion of his elegant furniture in today’s interior projects illustrates the longevity of great design.

Seats in the collection include Race’s first ever seat, the BA3; soft seating such as the Heron, Flamingo and DA chairs; the Antelope, Rocker, and Roebuck seats; and the Gazelle and BA tables.

Race was awarded many accolades and his furniture could be found everywhere from the suburban home to the most lavish ocean liner. In 1951 Race’s acclaimed Antelope & Springbok became the seating for the Festival of Britain and took their place in British design history.
